Based in Denver, CO, we are seeking a results-driven Senior Civil Engineer to lead design efforts, mentor junior engineers, manage multidisciplinary projects, and collaborate with clients and public agencies.

Responsibility

  • Lead civil and structural design for transportation, drainage, utilities, and site development projects from concept through construction.
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Perform technical analyses including drainage, hydrology, grading, materials, and structural checks; review calculations for quality and code compliance.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports using AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM tools.
  • Oversee QAQC processes, submittals, RFIs, and construction administration to support field teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians; contribute to proposal development and business development activities.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and public agencies to meet project goals and community needs.

Qualification

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineer PE licensure in Colorado or ability to obtain within 24 months.
  • 5+ years of progressive civil infrastructure and structural design experience; experience leading projects preferred.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit BIM, and hydraulic analysis software such as HEC-RAS and SWMM.
  • Strong knowledge of AASHTO LRFD, IBC, ASCE standards, and Colorado DOT guidelines.
  • Demonstrated project management and communication skills; client facing experience desirable.
  • Experience in construction administration, contract documents, RFIs, submittals, and field observations.
