Join Apex Civil & Infrastructure Solutions as a Senior Civil Engineer in Toronto. You will lead design, analysis, and project management for transportation, land development, and water resources initiatives, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and safety requirements.

Responsibility
- Lead planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects from concept through construction.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules, budgets, and risk, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Perform hydrology and hydraulics analysis, stormwater design, grading plans, and drainage systems optimization.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using Civil 3D and other design tools.
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards (ACI, AASHTO, IBC), and professional engineering practices.
- Oversee site investigations, permitting, QA/QC, and contractor coordination during construction.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with clients, municipalities, and consultants to deliver value-driven solutions.
- Lead risk assessment and safety planning to minimize impacts during construction and operation.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible for licensure in Ontario.
- Minimum 6-9 years of progressive civil engineering experience, with a focus on infrastructure, transportation, or water resources.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM (Revit), and hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software (HEC-RAS, StormCAD, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of Ontario design standards and project delivery methods; excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects, budgets, teams, and client communications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
