Join Pinnacle Civil & Infrastructure as a Senior Civil Engineer and lead design, analysis, and project delivery for complex infrastructure projects. This role blends technical leadership with client collaboration, feasibility studies, and governance compliance. You will contribute to design-bid-build and design-build projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure safety and quality standards across all phases.

Responsibility
- Lead and coordinate civil design efforts for transportation, drainage, and structural projects from concept through construction
- Develop technical specifications, design calculations, and construction drawings using industry-standard software
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments with proactive stakeholder communication
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and environmental and safety regulations
- Review contractor submittals, perform site visits, and oversee QA/QC processes
- Support proposal development, client meetings, and value engineering opportunities
- Champion sustainable design and life-cycle cost analysis in all projects
Qualification
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent; Master’s preferred
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Ontario or eligible for licensure
- Minimum 6-8 years of civil engineering experience with transportation or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and structural analysis software
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code and provincial standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
- Experience with project management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
