Responsibility
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of civil infrastructure projects, with emphasis on transportation, utilities, and site development.
- Develop and review design calculations, technical specifications, drawings, and project reports in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to define scope and deliverables.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments; track progress and ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide construction phase services, site inspections, RFI responses, change management, and QA/QC oversight.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and external consultants; manage vendor relationships.
- Promote sustainable design practices, value engineering, and safety best practices across projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in California or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- 5+ years of experience in civil infrastructure design, with transportation or site development emphasis.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, and BIM tools (Revit).
- Strong knowledge of codes (IBC, AASHTO, Caltrans standards) and ability to interpret geotechnical data.
- Experience with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6) and scheduling expertise.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills; able to manage multiple projects and teams.
