Join NorthBridge Civil Solutions as a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in transportation infrastructure. This full-time role is based in Toronto with hybrid options. You will lead complex road, bridge, and drainage design projects from concept through construction, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibility
- Lead the design and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects including roads, interchanges, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, drawings, and cost estimates in accordance with applicable standards (CSA, AASHTO, local codes).
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary design teams to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and change control processes.
- Oversee construction administration, site supervision, and QA/QC to ensure compliance and quality.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM workflows.
- Ensure health and safety compliance and environmental stewardship on all sites.
- Prepare permit applications and liaise with municipal authorities for approvals.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering; licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or eligible for licensure in Ontario.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in transportation or civil works design and project management.
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Civil 3D corridors, and hydraulic/hydrology modeling.
- Experience with design standards (CSA, AASHTO, MTO/municipal) and knowledge of QA/QC practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage client expectations, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows, 4D scheduling, and critical path analysis is a plus.
- Proven report writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Eligible to work in Canada and willing to travel to project sites as required.
