We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead design, analysis, and project delivery for transportation, utilities, and urban development initiatives. This role blends technical excellence with leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with clients, contractors, and regulators. You will design, review, and manage complex civil projects from concept through construction, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Responsibility
- Lead the design and oversight of transportation and civil infrastructure projects from concept through construction
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality control to ensure on-time delivery
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers, technicians, and interns
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and stakeholders; lead design reviews and approvals
- Perform technical analyses including drainage, hydraulics, grading, roadway and intersection design, and geotechnical coordination
- Prepare and review drawings, specifications, reports, and construction documents using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and BIM tools
- Support construction administration, RFI responses, submittals, and site observations
- Lead risk assessments, value engineering, and sustainable design practices
Qualification
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's preferred
- Minimum 7 years of progressive civil engineering experience, with a focus on transportation and infrastructure
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation; BIM experience (Revit) preferred
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO, DOT standards, and civil design codes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills; proven project management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment; willing to travel as needed
