Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using standardized tools and clinical interviews to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy across a range of conditions, with emphasis on CBT, ACT, and other evidence-based approaches.
- Develop and implement innovative treatment protocols and programs informed by current research findings.
- Supervise and train psychology interns and early-career clinicians; lead case conferences and clinical supervision sessions.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care teams to coordinate integrated care.
- Design, execute, and publish research studies or program evaluations to advance clinical practice.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, progress notes, risk assessments, and treatment plans in the EHR system.
- Stay current with regulatory and ethical standards; contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program; postdoctoral training preferred.
- License to practice psychology in New York or eligibility for licensure within the timeline.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience with diverse populations.
- Expertise in evidence-based therapy modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT) and psychological assessment.
- Strong data analysis and research skills, with experience in SPSS/R or similar tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills; ability to mentor staff and interns.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and cultural humility; demonstrated outcome-oriented approach.
- Experience with integrated care models and multidisciplinary collaboration.
