NovaMed Institute is seeking a Senior Clinical Specialist to advance patient care through innovative, evidence-based approaches in Specialized Medicine. This role blends clinical leadership, medical strategy, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-impact outcomes.
In this role, you will partner with physicians, researchers, and regulatory teams to design and implement care pathways, oversee patient programs, and translate complex data into actionable clinical insights.

Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of clinical programs in Specialized Medicine, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design patient care pathways and optimize outcomes.
- Manage and document clinical trials or observational studies related to rare diseases or complex conditions.
- Oversee medical writing, submissions, and communications with regulatory bodies and payers.
- Mentor clinicians and program coordinators; provide ongoing education on clinical guidelines and emerging therapies.
- Analyze real-world data to drive continuous quality improvement and publish findings when appropriate.
- Represent the institute at scientific conferences, advisory boards, and stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure patient-centric care, safety, and privacy in all activities.
Qualification
- MD or DO with board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Medical Genetics, Oncology, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in specialized or rare-disease medicine; experience in research or clinical trials preferred.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA/EMA), medical writing, and data interpretation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable clinical insights and patient care improvements.
- Experience with health informatics, EHR systems, and data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, or Python) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for conferences, site visits, and collaborative meetings.
