Join Apex Resilience Solutions as a Senior Crisis Management Lead and help global organizations anticipate, respond to, and recover from crises with confidence. You will design enterprise-wide crisis management programs, lead cross-functional incident response, and provide executive decision support during high-stakes events.
This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring strong communication, analytic rigor, and the ability to operate under pressure. You will partner with clients to elevate resilience, align with regulatory requirements, and drive measurable improvements in business continuity.
Responsibility
- Lead development and execution of crisis management plans, playbooks, and enterprise-wide response frameworks across functions (Executive, Communications, Operations, IT, Legal).
- Coordinate rapid incident response and decision support during crises, ensuring timely, accurate information for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Perform risk assessments, business impact analyses, and threat intelligence integration to inform proactive resilience strategies.
- Oversee crisis communications, including internal messaging, media coordination, and stakeholder briefings; manage rumor control and reputational risk.
- Design and deliver training programs and tabletop exercises to build organizational fluency in incident command and recovery procedures.
- Lead post-crisis reviews, root-cause analysis, lessons learned, and remediation planning to close gaps and strengthen controls.
- Collaborate with clients to align crisis management programs with ISO 22301, NFPA 1600, and other relevant standards; ensure regulatory and contractual alignment.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business continuity, security, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 8+ years in crisis management, incident response, or business continuity; consulting experience is a plus.
- Proven track record leading cross-functional crisis response for large or multinational organizations.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive-level stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with ISO 22301, NFPA 1600, NIST guidelines, and familiarity with Incident Command System (ICS).
- Ability to perform under pressure, make rapid, data-driven decisions, and manage conflicting priorities.
- Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) or strong program leadership experience.
