Join HarborPoint Risk & Resilience as a Senior Crisis Management Lead. You will architect resilient operations, lead cross-functional response teams, and safeguard critical business functions during disruptions. Based in New York City, this position partners with executive leadership, operations, communications, and compliance teams to translate risk insights into actionable plans. Responsibility
- Lead development and maintenance of comprehensive crisis response plans, playbooks, and business continuity strategies.
- On-call incident management during disruptions, coordinating internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Facilitate crisis simulations and tabletop exercises to test readiness and drive improvements.
- Coordinate crisis communications with executives, media teams, and client contacts to preserve reputation and trust.
- Perform risk assessments, monitor indicators, and trigger escalation protocols when needed.
- Oversee post-incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and remediation tracking.
- Drive training programs and workshops to elevate organization-wide resilience.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years in crisis management, business continuity, incident response, or related discipline.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to executives.
- Experience with crisis communications, media relations, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical skills, risk assessment, and decision-making under pressure.
- Familiarity with incident command systems and emergency operations center (EOC) processes; certifications such as CBCP, CEM, or PMP are a plus.
- Proficiency with risk analytics tools, project management software, and collaboration platforms.
- Ability to travel as required and work flexible hours for critical incidents.
