Global Resilience Partners (GRP) is seeking a results-driven Senior Crisis Manager to lead enterprise-wide crisis preparedness and response initiatives for our diverse client portfolio. This role requires strategic vision, strong program management, and the ability to influence at executive levels in high-stakes environments.
As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with risk, operations, IT, legal, and communications teams to build resilient organizations capable of preventing, detecting, and recovering from disruptions.
Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing refinement of enterprise crisis management programs, playbooks, and governance structures.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and business impact analyses to prioritize resilience initiatives across functions.
- Coordinate cross-functional incident response, escalation, and decision-making during crises, ensuring rapid and accurate communications.
- Develop and deliver crisis communications strategies, including internal and external messaging, media relations, and stakeholder briefings.
- Develop, test, and execute realistic tabletop exercises and simulations to validate readiness and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee business continuity planning and recovery strategies to minimize downtime and protect critical operations.
- Monitor regulatory changes, industry standards, and emerging threats to keep programs current and effective.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members and facilitate executive-level crisis leadership trainings.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in risk management, business, public policy, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years in crisis management, business continuity, risk management, or related disciplines.
- Proven incident command experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in crisis communications and media relations.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in risk assessment methodologies and business impact analyses.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Professional certifications such as FEMA ICS-100/200/300/400, DRII CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer (or equivalent).
