NovaAnalytics is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our fast growing data team in San Francisco. You will design, prototype, and deploy scalable machine learning models that power product recommendations, fraud detection, and business intelligence.
This role combines deep technical execution with cross functional collaboration to deliver measurable business impact. You will work with data engineers, ML engineers, product managers, and design teams to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibility
- Lead end to end data science projects from problem framing to deployment and monitoring
- Design robust experiments and use causal inference when appropriate
- Develop scalable ML models using Python and leading frameworks
- Collaborate with data engineers to build reliable data pipelines and feature stores
- Interpret and communicate model results to non technical stakeholders
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices and code reviews
- Own model performance metrics and iterate to maximize business impact
Qualification
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands on data science experience with end to end ML projects
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, plus SQL
- Proficiency with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps tools
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and ability to influence stakeholders
- Strong data visualization and storytelling abilities
