GlobalSphere Policy Institute invites a proactive Senior Diplomacy Policy Analyst to join our Washington, DC team. This role shapes international policy discussions, analyzes geopolitical developments, and advances diplomatic engagements with government partners, NGOs, and international organizations.
We seek a policy-focused professional who blends rigorous research with clear, persuasive communication to influence decision-makers and inform program strategy.
Responsibility
- Lead research and analysis on international policy issues affecting regional security, trade, development, and governance.
- Develop policy memos, briefing papers, and position statements for senior leadership and external partners.
- Design and implement diplomacy strategies, including outreach to government officials, think tanks, and multilateral institutions.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement and represent the organization at high-level meetings, conferences, and public events.
- Monitor global political developments and assess implications for program objectives and messaging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate policy insights into actionable program design and advocacy.
- Prepare media briefings and public statements; contribute to thought leadership and publications.
Qualification
- Master's degree in international relations, public policy, political science, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in diplomacy, policy analysis, or government affairs.
- Strong understanding of international institutions (UN, EU, WTO) and geopolitical dynamics.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Proven track record of stakeholder engagement and coalition-building across diverse partners.
- Ability to work with cultural sensitivity and diplomacy etiquette in high-stakes environments.
- Proficiency in research methods, data analysis, and policy synthesis; experience with policy briefs and public-facing reports.
