Join the Global Diplomacy Institute, a premier think tank dedicated to advancing diplomatic practice and international dialogue. We are seeking a Senior Diplomacy Policy Analyst to develop evidence-based policy insights and support high‑impact diplomatic engagement.
In this role, you will lead rigorous research, synthesize complex geopolitical data, and translate findings into actionable policy recommendations for senior leadership and external partners. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and represent the organization at select conferences and roundtables.
Responsibility
- Lead policy research on international security, trade, human rights, and multilateral diplomacy.
- Develop concise policy briefs, memoranda, and position papers tailored to diverse audiences.
- Engage with government officials, international organizations, embassies, and think tanks to advance shared objectives.
- Monitor geopolitical developments, assess risks, and prepare scenario analyses and memos for leadership.
- Design and manage diplomatic outreach programs, events, and roundtables.
- Collaborate with researchers, communications, and partnerships teams to translate findings into advocacy materials.
- Support grant reporting and program management, including budgeting and timelines.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in diplomacy, government affairs, or international organizations.
- Strong research methods, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and policy synthesis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to produce clear policy briefs, memos, and briefing materials for diverse audiences.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments; willingness to travel up to 15%.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., French, Spanish) a plus.
