NovaVolt Technologies is a leading provider of advanced electrical solutions for industrial and energy systems. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and bring to life high-efficiency power electronics and control systems.
In this role you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, robust, and compliant electrical architectures for next generation products and projects in renewable energy, grid-tech, and automation.

Responsibility
- Lead electrical system design from concept through validation for power electronics, control systems, and embedded interfaces.
- Develop schematic designs and PCB layouts, select components, and perform tolerance analyses.
- Model and simulate circuits using MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, and other tools; validate designs with lab testing.
- Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards (CE, UL, IEC 61000, IPC).
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
- Oversee test plans, qualification, and reliability testing; analyze test data to drive design decisions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing, design reviews, and best practices.
- Support production and field issues, providing troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics and electrical system design.
- Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, simulation (MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE), and PCB design tools (Altium, Cadence, EPLAN).
- Hands-on lab experience with high-power electronics, metrology, and reliability testing.
- Familiarity with embedded controllers and microcontrollers; proficiency in C/C++.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards (IEC 61000, UL, CE, IPC).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Experience with manufacturing processes and supplier interaction.
