NovaTech Engineering Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Austin, TX. This is a hands on role focused on developing high performance electrical systems for industrial automation, energy storage, and power electronics. You will work with hardware, firmware, and software teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
You will lead the design, analysis, and verification of analog and digital circuits, power electronics, motor control, and embedded systems. You will contribute to product architecture, select components, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end electrical system design from concept to production for high reliability products
- Analyze, simulate, and verify analog/digital circuits, power electronics, and motor control
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to define architectures
- Develop and execute test plans, validation, and quality assurance
- Own component selection, BOM management, and supplier engagement
- Ensure compliance with safety, EMC and regulatory standards
- Mentor junior engineers and support product lifecycle from development to manufacturing
Qualification
- Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in analog/digital design, power electronics, and embedded control systems
- Proficiency with circuit simulation tools (SPICE) and PCB design tools (Altium preferred) and lab instrumentation
- Experience with motor control, PLCs, instrumentation, and control loop design
- Strong knowledge of EMC EMI, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
- Hands-on prototyping, debugging, and test automation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills
