We are seeking a results-driven Senior Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and deliver complex power electronics, analog and digital circuits, and embedded control systems for our next-generation products. Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end design of power electronics, analog/digital circuits, and associated control systems from concept to prototyping and production release.
- Develop and validate schematics and PCB layouts using Altium or equivalent EDA tools; perform design reviews and DFM analysis.
- Model and simulate circuits using MATLAB/Simulink; analyze performance, efficiency, thermal behavior, and EMI.
- Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to integrate sensors, actuators, and packaging constraints.
- Support prototyping, testing, and qualification campaigns including environmental, reliability, and safety testing.
- Establish and maintain design documentation, standards compliance (IEC/UL), and traceability for certifications.
- Mentor junior engineers, review work products, and drive continuous improvement in design processes.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in power electronics, analog/digital circuit design, and PCB development.
- Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD) and schematic capture; knowledge of signal integrity and EMC/EMI fundamentals.
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink; experience with SPICE simulations is a plus.
- Experience with embedded control systems and microcontrollers; familiarity with firmware integration is a plus.
- Knowledge of standards and compliance (IEC 61000-4-2/4-4, UL, CE) and quality processes (design reviews, FMEA).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment in the US.
- Authorized to work in the United States or eligible for work authorization; willingness to travel up to 15% as needed.
