VoltEdge Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our ambitious team in Austin, TX. You will design, analyze, and optimize analog and power electronic systems for cutting-edge consumer and industrial applications. Responsibility
- Lead the design of analog, digital, and power electronic circuits from concept through verification.
- Develop and verify schematics, PCB layouts, and parasitic extraction; optimize for efficiency and reliability.
- Create and execute test plans, perform characterisation, validation, and fault isolation in lab environments.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust product realization.
- Review specifications, manage change control, and ensure compliance with relevant standards (IEC, UL).
- Mentor junior engineers, support project planning, and contribute to technical roadmaps.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in analog and power electronics design.
- Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium or Cadence) and SPICE simulations.
- Experience with power conversion topologies, EMI/EMC considerations, and testing.
- Strong programming skills for data analysis (Python, MATLAB) and test automation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; experience mentoring others.
- Ability to travel up to 10% and work on-site in Austin as needed.
