Responsibility

  • Lead the design of analog, digital, and power electronic circuits from concept through verification.
  • Develop and verify schematics, PCB layouts, and parasitic extraction; optimize for efficiency and reliability.
  • Create and execute test plans, perform characterisation, validation, and fault isolation in lab environments.
  • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust product realization.
  • Review specifications, manage change control, and ensure compliance with relevant standards (IEC, UL).
  • Mentor junior engineers, support project planning, and contribute to technical roadmaps.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in analog and power electronics design.
  • Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium or Cadence) and SPICE simulations.
  • Experience with power conversion topologies, EMI/EMC considerations, and testing.
  • Strong programming skills for data analysis (Python, MATLAB) and test automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; experience mentoring others.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% and work on-site in Austin as needed.
