You will design and deliver reliable electrical solutions for power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet demanding performance and compliance standards.
Responsibility
- Lead the electrical design for power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation in product development from concept to deployment.
- Develop and verify analog/digital circuits and power electronics (DC-DC, PWM, inverters) for high-reliability applications.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and test teams to ensure performance, manufacturability, and maintainability.
- Create and maintain schematics, PCB layouts, and assembly drawings using EDA tools (Altium, OrCAD, or equivalent).
- Conduct design reviews, test planning, and debugging in lab environments; author comprehensive test protocols.
- Perform FMEA, reliability analysis, and risk assessments to drive robust product design.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, and relevant standards; support certification and regulatory activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to roadmap planning and technical strategy.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in power electronics, control systems, or industrial/automotive environments.
- Proficient in EDA tools (Altium, PSpice/OrCAD, CircuitMaker) and MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and validation.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and thermal management in PCB design.
- Experience with PCB layout, DFM/DFT, and design-for-test methodologies.
- Familiarity with NEC, IEC, ISO standards; experience with certification processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills; capable of guiding cross-functional teams.
- U.S. work authorization is required.
