- Develop schematics and PCB layouts, perform DFx reviews, and drive reliability and cost optimization.
- Simulate circuits using SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink; conduct thermal analysis and EMI/EMC assessments.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, and QA teams to support hardware-in-the-loop testing and production ramp.
- Create and maintain design documentation, test plans, risk assessments (FMEA), and design reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead project components, and contribute to competitive technical trade studies.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 5+ years in power electronics/hardware design.
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, power conversion, control theory, and reliability engineering.
- Experience with PCB design and layout tools (Altium, Cadence) and DFM practices.
- Proficiency in SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice; hands-on prototyping and testing.
- Experience with embedded microcontrollers (ARM/Cortex) and PLCs; proficiency in programming is a plus.
- Thermal management, EMI/EMC, and familiarity with IEC/UL standards and certification processes.
