EnergiaTech Solutions is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Systems to lead design, analysis, and implementation of advanced electrical power systems for utility-scale and industrial projects. This role focuses on grid integration, HV/MV distribution, protection schemes, and reliability improvements for a forward-thinking energy team in Austin, TX.
What you will do:
- Lead electrical design and verification for high-power distribution systems, including LV, MV, and HV configurations.
- Develop and validate protection schemes, relay settings, and arc-flash studies compliant with NEC and IEEE standards.
- Model and simulate power systems using MATLAB/Simulink and electrical software tools (PSS/E, DIgSILENT, ETAP).
- Collaborate with hardware teams on switchgear, transformers, and SCADA integration to ensure robust operation.
- Prepare technical specifications, reports, and procurement packages for projects of various scales.
- Provide technical leadership for project execution, risk assessment, and quality assurance.
- Support commissioning, testing, and performance verification at startup and during operations.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the power engineering practice.
Responsibility

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; PE license preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in electrical power systems design and analysis.
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, DIgSILENT, PSS/E, ETAP, or equivalent tools.
- Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV distribution, protective relaying, and arc-flash standards.
- Experience with SCADA systems, interoperability, and control hardware integration.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed for site visits and commissioning.
- US work authorization; bilingual a plus.
