NovaVolt Technologies is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to join our product development team in Seattle. You will design, analyze, and test high‑reliability electrical systems for industrial and commercial applications, from power electronics to control interfaces.

Responsibility
- Design, implement, and validate power electronics and analog/digital circuits for end‑use products.
- Own circuit and system‑level design from concept to prototype to production, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Create and execute test plans, perform characterization, reliability, and safety testing.
- Develop FPGA/embedded control solutions and digital interfaces as needed.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and QA teams to ensure manufacturability and regulatory compliance.
- Support manufacturing with debugging, root‑cause analysis, and process improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design reviews and documentation.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of electrical design experience in power electronics, automation, or related sectors.
- Strong proficiency in PCB design, circuit simulation, and EDA tools (Altium, Cadence, OrCAD).
- Expertise in power conversion topologies, control systems, sensors, and safety standards (UL, IEC 61010, etc.).
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and LabVIEW; experience with testing and data analysis.
- Familiarity with FPGA/HDL (Verilog/VHDL) and embedded microcontrollers; strong debugging skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilities.
