Responsibility
- Lead electrical power system studies including short-circuit, load flow, transient analysis, and protective relay coordination using ETAP, PSS/E, or SKM
- Design and review medium voltage and high voltage distribution networks, switchgear, transformers, and grounding schemes
- Develop detailed one-line diagrams, cable schedules, protection schemes, and bill of materials
- Coordinate with mechanical, control systems, and civil teams to ensure seamless integration and commissioning
- Lead project planning, scheduling, risk management, and quality assurance activities
- Mentor junior engineers, review technical work, and provide training on power engineering best practices
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and grid interconnection requirements; support client-facing design reviews
- Oversee commissioning, testing, performance verification, and as-built documentation
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; MS degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power systems engineering for utilities, EPC contractors, or industrial facilities
- Proficiency with ETAP, SKM PowerTools, PSS/E, and AutoCAD Electrical
- Strong knowledge of protection relays, SCADA/RTU, HV/LV distribution, grounding, and harmonic analysis
- Experience with HV projects, switchgear coordination, and fault current calculations
- Project management experience and ability to lead teams across disciplines
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and client collaboration skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or eligible to obtain
