Responsibility

  • Lead electrical power system studies including short-circuit, load flow, transient analysis, and protective relay coordination using ETAP, PSS/E, or SKM
  • Design and review medium voltage and high voltage distribution networks, switchgear, transformers, and grounding schemes
  • Develop detailed one-line diagrams, cable schedules, protection schemes, and bill of materials
  • Coordinate with mechanical, control systems, and civil teams to ensure seamless integration and commissioning
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, risk management, and quality assurance activities
  • Mentor junior engineers, review technical work, and provide training on power engineering best practices
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and grid interconnection requirements; support client-facing design reviews
  • Oversee commissioning, testing, performance verification, and as-built documentation

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; MS degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in power systems engineering for utilities, EPC contractors, or industrial facilities
  • Proficiency with ETAP, SKM PowerTools, PSS/E, and AutoCAD Electrical
  • Strong knowledge of protection relays, SCADA/RTU, HV/LV distribution, grounding, and harmonic analysis
  • Experience with HV projects, switchgear coordination, and fault current calculations
  • Project management experience and ability to lead teams across disciplines
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and client collaboration skills
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or eligible to obtain
