Responsibility
- Design, model, and analyze medium/high voltage electrical power systems for commercial and industrial applications.
- Lead power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and protection coordination.
- Develop detailed engineering documentation: one-line diagrams, specifications, and calculations.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing technical leadership and professional development.
- Interface with clients to determine project requirements and ensure delivery on schedule and within budget.
- Oversee coordination with utility companies, vendors, and contractors throughout project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with all NEC, IEEE, and local regulatory standards.
- Support EPC proposals and business development initiatives with technical expertise.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems focus preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience designing and implementing electrical power systems.
- Expertise with ETAP, SKM, or similar analytical software.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and NFPA standards.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience working with utility interconnections and large infrastructure projects is a plus.
