Senior Engineer – ENGIE Group, Singapore
ENGIE Group is seeking a results-driven Senior Engineer to lead the design, installation, and optimization of HVAC systems and energy management solutions for our Singapore portfolio. This hands-on role blends technical excellence with strategic project delivery, data-driven decision making, and collaboration across operations, commissioning, and digitalization teams. Knowledge of HVAC, power meters and SCADA is an advantage that will help you harness real-time data to improve performance and deliver measurable savings.
You will apply your engineering expertise to develop robust technical specifications, oversee system integration with SCADA and Building Management Systems (BMS), and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You will work with facilities teams, vendors, and contractors to implement solutions that meet client objectives while staying on schedule and within budget. In addition, you will mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across ENGIE's Singapore portfolio.

Responsibility
- Lead the engineering design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems for commercial and industrial facilities in Singapore.
- Oversee SCADA and Building Management System (BMS) integration, data connectivity, and inter-system communication.
- Monitor and optimize system performance using power meters and energy data analytics to drive energy efficiency.
- Develop technical specifications, project plans, schedules, and budgets; manage contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and local regulatory standards; perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
- Conduct commissioning, testing, validation, and handover to operations; prepare O&M manuals and training materials.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC systems, energy management, SCADA/BMS, and related building automation technologies.
- Hands-on experience with power meters, energy data analytics, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
- Proven project management skills, including scope, scheduling, budgeting, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; comfortable with client-facing and cross-functional teamwork.
- Professional certifications (eg, PE, CEM) are desirable; eligible to work in Singapore.
- Proficiency in English; ability to analyze data and present clear recommendations.
