Job description
Join JTE Recruit as a Senior Engineer (MQA) in Manufacturing. This is a strategic quality leadership role in the West Region of Singapore. You will champion Manufacturing Quality Assurance (MQA) practices across production lines and drive improvements that ensure conformity with industry standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with hands-on leadership, enabling you to partner with process engineers, production teams, and suppliers to deliver defect-free products.
In this role, you will own critical quality processes, participate in new product introductions, manage CAPA investigations, and maintain robust quality systems aligned with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards. You will lead root cause analyses, validate controls, and monitor key quality metrics to sustain continuous improvement. This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail, data-driven decision-making, and effective cross-functional collaboration are essential. You will also mentor junior engineers, ensure robust documentation (FMEA, Control Plans, SOPs), and prepare for internal and external audits.
As part of the team, you will collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, and Supplier Quality to resolve quality issues at source and prevent recurrence. You will participate in regular quality reviews, contribute to process validation activities, and help shape the organization's quality strategy for new products. If you are a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a passion for manufacturing excellence, this is the opportunity for you.
