Verdant Analytics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead and deliver sustainable projects across water resources, waste management, and air quality compliance. You will work with municipal, industrial, and private clients to design solutions that meet regulatory requirements while improving community health and ecosystem resilience.
In this role, you will apply strong technical analytics, project management, and stakeholder communication to deliver impactful outcomes from concept through construction and operation.

Responsibility
- Lead and manage environmental engineering projects from scope to delivery, including design, analysis, and construction support for water, wastewater, and solid waste facilities.
- Conduct site investigations, data collection, modeling, and risk assessment to inform compliant design and permitting strategies.
- Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and supporting documentation for regulatory agencies (e.g., NPDES, NESHAP, air permitting).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop design documentation, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Apply GIS, hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS), and CAD tools to support engineering analyses and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with CEQA/NEPA and deliver environmental impact assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Support business development through client engagement, proposal writing, and presentation of project findings.
Qualification
- B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Engineering or a related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental engineering, water/wastewater, air quality, or remediation projects.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (CEQA/NEPA, NPDES, RCRA, TSCA) and permitting processes.
- Proficiency with GIS (ArcGIS), CAD (AutoCAD), and modeling tools (HEC-RAS, SWMM, groundwater models).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated project management, time management, and ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%).
