Responsibility
- Lead and manage environmental engineering projects from scoping through implementation, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget.
- Perform data analysis, prepare technical reports, permit applications (e.g., NPDES, MA DEP), and support environmental impact assessments.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors; communicate complex findings clearly through reports and presentations.
- Develop design calculations, project specifications, and cost estimates for water resources, wastewater, stormwater, and site remediation projects.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and interns; ensure QA/QC and thorough project documentation.
- Support business development by preparing proposals, technical presentations, and client meetings.
- Utilize GIS, modeling tools, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D to develop accurate drawings and analyses.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Massachusetts or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- 5+ years of environmental engineering experience with emphasis on water resources, wastewater, or site remediation.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (EPA, MA DEP) and permits; experience with NEPA/CEQA is a plus.
- Proficiency with CAD/GIS software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS) and data analysis tools (Excel, Python, R).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; demonstrated client-facing experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment and travel as needed.
