Responsibility
- Design and manage stormwater, water resources, and environmental remediation projects from concept through construction.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, pollutant load assessments, and mass balance calculations.
- Develop permit applications and ensure compliance with EPA, DEQ (Oregon), and local regulations.
- Lead field investigations, sampling plans, data collection, and quality assurance activities.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings (CAD/BIM), and scoping-level/comprehensive cost estimates.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders; manage project schedules, budgets, and risk.
- Apply GIS and data analytics to support design decisions, monitoring, and performance reporting.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development, proposals, and client relationships.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in environmental engineering, water resources, or related fields; PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (EPA, Oregon DEQ, OSHA) and permitting processes.
- Proficiency with GIS (ArcGIS), hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS), and CAD software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and client relationships; willingness to travel regionally.
