Join ClearSky's Environmental Engineering team in Austin as a Senior Environmental Engineer. This role focuses on designing and implementing sustainable solutions for water, wastewater, air, and soil remediation projects. You will work with a cross functional team to deliver high quality results for municipal and industrial clients.
We are seeking a collaborative problem solver who enjoys hands on design and project leadership. This is a client facing role that combines technical analysis with strategic thinking to deliver practical and compliant solutions.
Responsibility
- Lead project teams in the planning design and execution of environmental engineering projects
- Develop and review permitting strategies and compliance documentation
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and modeling
- Design water and wastewater treatment systems and nutrient removal solutions
- Coordinate with clients regulators and stakeholders to ensure on time delivery
- Prepare technical reports cost estimates and procurement specifications
- Monitor QA QC safety and environmental health standards on site
- Mentor junior engineers and support business development efforts
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field; MS preferred
- 5+ years of professional experience in environmental engineering
- Experience with water/wastewater treatment design and permitting
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D HEC-RAS EPA SWMM and GIS
- Strong analytical communication and leadership skills
- Professional Engineer PE license or eligibility in Texas
- Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed
