Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end water resources projects including wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and infrastructure rehabilitation.
- Model hydrology and hydraulics (HEC-RAS, SWMM) and perform flood risk and environmental impact assessments.
- Coordinate with clients, regulators, and internal teams to define scope, budgets, and schedules.
- Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory documentation.
- Oversee field investigations, data collection, QA/QC of deliverables, and ensure data integrity.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers; foster interdisciplinary collaboration across projects.
- Support business development through proposals, client meetings, and presentation of project concepts.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a closely related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in water resources, wastewater, or environmental compliance projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; eligible in Oregon or able to obtain licensure.
- Strong proficiency with GIS, CAD tools, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.
- Demonstrated track record with regulatory permits, environmental compliance, and project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
