Join Aurora Environmental Advisors, a premier environmental engineering practice delivering practical, science-based solutions for water resources, remediation, and regulatory compliance. We are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead complex projects for municipal, industrial, and private clients across the Pacific Northwest. You will design sustainable engineering solutions, mentor junior engineers, manage client relationships, and ensure all work meets stringent regulatory standards.

Responsibility
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams across water resources, soil & groundwater, and environmental compliance engagements.
- Develop scope, project plans, schedules, and budgets; deliver high-quality technical reports to clients and regulators.
- Oversee permitting, risk assessments, and regulatory approvals; interface with agencies to secure permits.
- Prepare and review technical calculations, models (hydrology, hydraulics, sediment transport), and design drawings.
- Mentor junior engineers and support staff; foster professional development and safety culture.
- Lead client engagements, prepare proposals, and support business development activities.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards and drive continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in water resources, remediation, or compliance.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington or ability to obtain quickly; familiarity with EPA/state regulatory frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of environmental modeling (SWMM, HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS), GIS (ArcGIS), and design tools (AutoCAD/Civil 3D).
- Proven project management skills with experience managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Commitment to safety, sustainability, and high-quality deliverables; capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Willingness to travel regionally.
