We are seeking a Senior Executive / Executive - Cost & Contract to join our Cost Management team in Johor Bahru. In this role, you will apply cost engineering, quantity surveying, and contract knowledge to safeguard project value from concept to completion.
You will partner with project teams to ensure rigorous cost planning, accurate budgeting, effective procurement, and compliant contract administration for our real estate development portfolio in Johor and the southern region.

Responsibility
- Lead cost planning and control across project lifecycle from feasibility to handover.
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow projections.
- Review, negotiate, and administer contracts with vendors and consultants; manage change orders.
- Monitor contract performance, variations, claims, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with design, project management, procurement teams to optimize cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Tropicana policies and local regulations; maintain audit trails.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and procurement strategies; support tender evaluations.
Qualification
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field; professional MRICS/MACS or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in cost estimation, contract administration, and procurement in real estate/development projects.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction contracts (PAM and FIDIC) and change management processes.
- Proficient in MS Office, cost mgmt software, and ERP; experience with BIM is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
