Join a premier luxury fashion house based in Paris. Lumière Atelier seeks a seasoned Senior Fashion Designer to shape our signature aesthetic, lead seasonal concepts, and elevate our storytelling from sketch to flawless final product. This is a hands-on, creative leadership role in a fast-paced studio, ideal for designers who excel at balancing artistry with commercial insight.

As part of our design team, you will translate global trends into refined silhouettes, oversee fabric selection and color palettes, and collaborate with pattern making and production partners to ensure impeccable execution from concept to wear-test. You will contribute to the brand’s strategic direction while mentoring emerging talent.

Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end design concept development and seasonal storytelling for Women’s Ready-to-Wear and Couture lines.
  • Create innovative silhouettes, fabric palettes, and color stories aligned with the brand’s luxury identity.
  • Develop and maintain technical packs, fit comments, and collaborate closely with pattern makers and production to ensure flawless execution.
  • Present designs to leadership and cross-functional teams; translate feedback into refined product specs.
  • Oversee material sourcing, supplier relationships, and sustainability considerations in line with brand standards.
  • Mentor and manage junior designers, inspiring a culture of design excellence and collaboration.
  • Ensure collections meet calendar milestones, quality standards, and commercial targets.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or equivalent; 7+ years of experience in luxury fashion design.
  • Proven senior design experience with a strong, cohesive portfolio showcasing modern luxury aesthetics and craftsmanship.
  • Advanced proficiency in CAD tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with 3D design or tech-pack systems; strong pattern making and draping knowledge.
  • Excellent sense of fabric, trim, and material quality; ability to collaborate with sourcing and production teams.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills; ability to lead design reviews and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluent English; French speaking skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed for fittings, shows, and supplier meetings.
  • Commitment to sustainability and responsible fashion practices.
