NovaModa Studio is a premier fashion house known for sustainable couture and modern silhouettes. We are seeking a Senior Fashion Designer & Merchandiser to lead design, development, and strategic merchandising across our seasonal collections. This role blends creative direction with data-driven planning to deliver standout fashion that resonates with global customers.
As part of our design team, you will shape product strategy, oversee cross-functional collaboration, and ensure timely delivery from concept to market.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end design and product development across menswear and womenswear lines.
- Translate trend forecasts into market-ready collections, color stories, and fabric selections.
- Collaborate with design, sourcing, and production teams to meet calendar milestones.
- Create technical specifications, CAD flats, and oversee fit approvals and samples.
- Partner with merchandising to optimize product assortment, pricing, and profitability.
- Present seasonal concepts to senior leadership and key buyers; drive showroom strategy.
- Mentor junior designers and maintain brand design language across all products.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in fashion design, merchandising, or product development.
- Strong portfolio showcasing womenswear/menswear or couture lines.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop); familiarity with 3D prototyping a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of fabrics, trims, manufacturing processes, and fit standards.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel up to 20% and adapt to fast-paced environments.
