Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end design process from concept to final product, ensuring brand DNA and trend relevance.
- Develop seasonal collections, including silhouettes, fabrics, color palettes, and detailing.
- Collaborate with product development, pattern making, and technical teams to ensure fit and quality.
- Translate research into design language with clear design specifications and presentation boards.
- Oversee fittings, adjust patterns, and validate production samples to optimize wearability and aesthetics.
- Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of innovation and craftsmanship.
- Work with sustainability initiatives to minimize waste and select responsible materials.
- Represent the brand at industry events, showrooms, and client meetings as needed.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in luxury fashion design, preferably womenswear
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development and final product execution
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and hand sketching
- Expert knowledge of fabrics, trims, draping, patternmaking, and construction
- Excellent eye for color, proportion, and detail
- Fluency in English; Italian a plus
- Collaborative mindset with ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of sustainability practices in design and sourcing
