Job description

Join a premium Paris fashion studio as a Senior Fashion Designer. You will lead the design process from concept to final product, shaping luxury womenswear collections for multiple seasonal drops. This is a hands-on, creative role that blends trend forecasting with meticulous craft and a strong eye for fabric and fit.

You will collaborate with product development, patternmaking, and production teams to ensure that every piece reflects the brand's identity and quality standards while meeting market demands.

Responsibility

  • Lead concept development for seasonal collections from mood board to final sample approval.
  • Create innovative concepts, mood boards, and fabrics/color stories aligned with the brand's luxury identity.
  • Collaborate with pattern makers, product developers, and production teams to ensure flawless execution.
  • Manage and mentor junior designers; review sketches and provide constructive direction.
  • Conduct fittings, refine silhouettes, and ensure garment fit and wearability across sizes.
  • Source fabrics and trims, assess suppliers, and manage cost targets without compromising quality.
  • Present collection reviews to senior leadership and key stakeholders; translate feedback into actionable design changes.
  • Stay ahead of fashion trends, forecast textiles, and maintain sustainability and ethical standards.

Qualification

  • 5+ years of experience in fashion design, with a strong portfolio in womenswear and luxury or premium brands.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and 3D visualization software is a plus (CLO3D or similar).
  • Excellent sketching, draping, pattern making, and garment construction knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of fabric, trims, and sourcing; ability to manage cost targets and lead times.
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Fluent in English; French language skills are a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities; experience managing a design team.
  • Passion for sustainability, inclusivity, and quality craftsmanship; able to work in a fast-paced studio environment.
