You will translate trend insights into commercially viable designs, manage design from concept to final production, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seasonal collections that resonate with a global audience. Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end design process for multiple seasonal collections from concept through final production.
  • Translate trend forecasting, consumer insights, and market data into market-ready silhouettes and fabrics.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Merchandising, and Marketing to align on targets, costings, and timelines.
  • Create technical drawings, specs, and mood boards; oversee fit sessions and fit approvals.
  • Source fabrics and trims; manage supplier and vendor relationships to meet quality standards.
  • Partner with pattern makers and sample teams to iterate quickly, maintaining calendar milestones.
  • Present designs to executives and showrooms; refine based on feedback and brand strategy.

Qualification

  • 7+ years in fashion design with a strong portfolio across contemporary luxury and/or high-end streetwear.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop; CAD tools like CLO, Lectra preferred).
  • Excellent understanding of textiles, fabrics, and production processes; knowledge of pattern making is a plus.
  • Strong sense of color, proportion, and trend forecasting; ability to predict market direction.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaborative skills; experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment in NYC.
