Join Lumen Couture, a premium fashion house founded on design excellence and modern elegance. We are seeking a Senior Fashion Designer to lead our seasonal collections from concept to runway-ready pieces in New York City.
As a key creative leader, you will shape silhouettes, fabrics, and detailing, translating runway trends into commercially viable garments while upholding the brand's refined aesthetic. You will collaborate with product, material sourcing, and production teams to ensure quality, fit, and timely delivery.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end design for seasonal collections in collaboration with product and production teams.
- Translate trend analysis into market-ready silhouettes, fabrics, and detailing.
- Create and manage tech packs, specifications, and CAD sketches for development partners.
- Partner with sourcing to select textiles, trims, and sustainable materials.
- Mentor junior designers, oversee design calendar, and ensure milestones are met.
- Present concepts to executives and ensure alignment with brand vision and business goals.
- Collaborate with patternmakers and the sample room to ensure fit, construction, and quality.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
- 5+ years of design experience in luxury or premium fashion brands
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual and technical design capabilities
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with CLO or Gerber a plus
- Excellent knowledge of fabrics, trims, and manufacturing processes
- Exceptional drawing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional team environment
