You will lead the design process from concept to final sample, collaborating with fabric sourcing, technical design, and production teams to deliver a premium collection that resonates with a luxury audience.
We seek a visionary designer with a strong portfolio, deep knowledge of draping, pattern making, and CAD tools, and a track record of delivering modern silhouettes and impeccably finished garments.
Responsibility
- Lead seasonal design concepts, mood boards, and direction for womenswear across categories.
- Translate concepts into tech packs, flats, and production specifications for samples.
- Collaborate with fabric sourcing and suppliers to select premium materials and trims.
- Own the design calendar, milestones, and cross functional integration with marketing, product, and production teams.
- Oversee fittings, adjust patterns for fit, drape, and comfort while maintaining brand aesthetic.
- Mentor junior designers and uphold high standards of craftsmanship and detailing within the collection.
- Present collections to senior leadership, showrooms, and clients, ensuring consistent storytelling and brand voice.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field with 5+ years in womenswear or luxury fashion.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating contemporary silhouettes, technical proficiency, and fabric knowledge.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience creating tech packs and specifications.
- Expertise in draping, pattern making, garment construction, and fit development.
- Excellent color sense, trend forecasting, and ability to translate trends into marketable designs.
- Experience collaborating with production teams and vendors to manage sampling and delivery timelines.
- Strong storytelling, presentation, and communication skills in a fast-paced studio environment.
