  • Manage line planning, buy quantities, open-to-buy, and markdown strategies to optimize margin.

  • Oversee vendor relationships, samples, approvals, and quality control processes.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs, provide actionable insights, and report to senior leadership.
  • Mentor junior merchandisers and contribute to a high-performance fashion team.

Qualification

  • 5+ years of fashion merchandising or equivalent, with a track record in ready-to-wear or accessories.
  • Strong trend forecasting, market analysis, and data-driven decision making.
  • Proficiency in SAP/ERP, MS Excel, and business intelligence tools; experience with merchandising systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment; NYC market knowledge is a plus.
