Join Eclipse Couture, a premium fashion house renowned for modern silhouettes and sustainable luxury. We are seeking a Senior Fashion Merchandiser to lead trend-driven assortments across our ready-to-wear and accessories lines in New York City.
As a pivotal member of the product team, you will translate market insights into compelling collections, collaborate with designers, sourcing, and retail partners, and ensure on-time delivery and profitability.

Responsibility
- Lead seasonal merchandising strategy for women's and men's lines, aligning with brand direction and business goals.
- Analyze sales data, trend reports, and consumer insights to drive assortments and inventory plans.
- Collaborate with design, product development, sourcing, and production to align calendars and go-to-market timetables.
- Manage line planning, buy quantities, open-to-buy, and markdown strategies to optimize margin.
- Partner with Marketing and Visual Merchandising to craft compelling product storytelling and campaigns.
- Oversee vendor relationships, samples, approvals, and quality control processes.
- Monitor performance against KPIs, provide actionable insights, and report to senior leadership.
- Mentor junior merchandisers and contribute to a high-performance fashion team.
Qualification
- 5+ years of fashion merchandising or equivalent, with a track record in ready-to-wear or accessories.
- Strong trend forecasting, market analysis, and data-driven decision making.
- Proficiency in SAP/ERP, MS Excel, and business intelligence tools; experience with merchandising systems.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment; NYC market knowledge is a plus.
