Introducing Luxe Atelier, a premium fashion house redefining contemporary women's wear in New York City. We seek a Senior Fashion Merchandiser who combines trend intelligence with data-driven decision making to shape seasonal assortments and drive revenue.

As a key member of the Merchandising team, you will partner with design, product development, and retail teams to curate compelling collections that resonate with a global customer base. You will translate market insights into actionable plans that optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions across multiple channels.

Responsibility

  • Develop and own the seasonal merchandising strategy and assortment plan aligned to brand objectives and financial targets.
  • Analyze sales performance, model sell-through, GMROI, and inventory health to inform replenishment and markdown decisions.
  • Partner with design and product development to translate trend insights into MVPs, product briefs, and line lists.
  • Lead cross-channel assortment planning (DTC, wholesale, e-comm) and optimize SKU count, breadth, and depth.
  • Collaborate with pricing, marketing, and creative teams to craft compelling storytelling and promotions.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Present business reviews to senior leadership, deriving actionable insights and pacing recommendations.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field; 5+ years of fashion merchandising experience in luxury or contemporary brands.
  • Strong trend analysis and consumer insights capabilities with a data-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems; comfortable with ERP workflows.
  • Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills; ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, travel for meetings as required, and work with a global team.
