Job description

StellarFrame Studios is seeking a Senior Film Producer to lead high-impact productions from development through delivery in Los Angeles. This role blends creative vision with operational excellence, coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver cinematic projects on time and on budget.

As part of our creative leadership, you will oversee development, scheduling, budgeting, vendor negotiations, and risk management, ensuring the creative intent is realized while maintaining production integrity. You will collaborate with directors, editors, and line producers to streamline workflows and maximize creative impact.

We offer a collaborative, fast-paced environment with competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities to work on prestige projects with world-class talent.

Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end project planning from development through post-production, establishing timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Prepare and manage production budgets, forecasts, and cost reports; track expenditures and optimize resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with directors, writers, DP, and department heads to ensure creative alignment and scheduling feasibility.
  • Negotiate with studios, vendors, locations, and talent agencies to secure favorable terms and contracts.
  • Mitigate risk by identifying potential bottlenecks, securing permits, managing SAG-AFTRA/commercial guidelines, and contingency planning.
  • Oversee procurement, hiring, crew management, call sheets, and production logistics to maintain smooth daily operations.
  • Lead post-production coordination, reviews, and delivery of final outputs with a focus on quality and timeline adherence.

Qualification

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in film/TV production, with a track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills applied to cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Hands-on experience with production management software such as StudioBinder, MovieMagic, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of SAG-AFTRA guidelines, union contracts, and location permitting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, risk assessment, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Portfolio or reel demonstrating successful productions across development, production, and post-production.
