Timberline Forestry Solutions is seeking a Senior Forestry Project Manager to lead strategic forest management initiatives across our regional programs. Based in Vancouver, this role combines field leadership with data driven decision making to promote sustainable timber production, habitat protection, and community partnership.

Responsibility
- Lead planning, budgeting, and scheduling for forestry projects from inception to close-out.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including silviculture, harvesting, GIS, and environmental compliance.
- Manage contractor procurement, field operations, and quality control.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and applicable environmental standards.
- Monitor project performance with KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Engage with Indigenous communities, local stakeholders, and client representatives to align objectives.
- Prepare progress reports, risk logs, and final project documentation for clients and leadership.
- Promote safety, sustainable practices, and continuous process improvement across projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Natural Resource Management, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of forestry project management experience, with a track record of delivering complex field programs.
- Strong proficiency in GIS, forest inventory methods, and data analysis.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, environmental assessments, and permitting processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with proven stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated budget management, vendor coordination, and procurement experience.
- Professional accreditation such as RPF or PMP is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the region and adapt to field conditions.
