We are seeking a Senior Fossil Energy Engineer to join our Houston team. This role combines technical leadership, project delivery, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize exploration, development, and production in complex basins.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end engineering design for oil and gas projects, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and review reservoir simulations, production forecasts, and performance metrics to drive field optimization.
- Collaborate with geoscience, operations, and safety teams to de-risk projects and meet regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and external partners.
- Assess emerging technologies and process improvements to enhance recovery and reduce emissions.
- Prepare technical specifications, risk registers, and project execution plans for multi-year programs.
- Lead or participate in design reviews, HSE audits, and commissioning activities.
- Present findings to stakeholders and support business development with technical insights.
Qualification
- Bachelor or Master degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in fossil energy projects, reservoir engineering, or field development planning.
- Strong proficiency in reservoir simulation tools (Eclipse, CMG) and process modeling (Aspen HYSYS, Petro-SIM).
- Experience with EOR methods, surface facility design, and production optimization.
- Solid understanding of HSE standards and regulatory requirements in the US or international environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Proficient programming or data analytics experience (Python, SQL, MATLAB) a plus.
- Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
