Responsibility

  • Lead cross-functional fossil energy projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
  • Develop reservoir management plans and optimize asset performance using simulation and data analytics.
  • Collaborate with geology, drilling, operations, safety, and regulatory teams to align on technical and compliance objectives.
  • Implement advanced process simulations and economic models to evaluate project viability and risk.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental, health and safety standards; support permits and regulatory reporting.
  • Drive digital transformation through analytics tools, dashboards, and predictive analytics for asset optimization.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, supplier relationships, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in fossil energy exploration, production, or refining.
  • Proficiency with reservoir and process simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Aspen HYSYS, PetroMod) and data analytics tools.
  • Solid understanding of upstream/downstream operations, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA/EPA).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities and travel as needed.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
