Responsibility
- Lead cross-functional fossil energy projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
- Develop reservoir management plans and optimize asset performance using simulation and data analytics.
- Collaborate with geology, drilling, operations, safety, and regulatory teams to align on technical and compliance objectives.
- Implement advanced process simulations and economic models to evaluate project viability and risk.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health and safety standards; support permits and regulatory reporting.
- Drive digital transformation through analytics tools, dashboards, and predictive analytics for asset optimization.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, supplier relationships, and mentor junior engineers.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in fossil energy exploration, production, or refining.
- Proficiency with reservoir and process simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Aspen HYSYS, PetroMod) and data analytics tools.
- Solid understanding of upstream/downstream operations, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA/EPA).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities and travel as needed.
- Experience with SQL, Python, and dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
