Responsibility

  • Lead feasibility studies and FEED activities for refinery, LNG, and power-generation projects, delivering high-quality technical packages on time.
  • Design, analyze, and optimize thermal processes, heat integration, and energy recovery systems to maximize efficiency and reduce emissions.
  • Ensure compliance with API, ASME, NEC, and company safety standards; manage permits and regulatory documentation.
  • Serve as a technical lead on multi-discipline projects; manage budgets, schedules, risk registers, and change control.
  • Perform process simulations, HAZOPs, P&IDs, and PFDs to validate design integrity and operability.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, procurement, and environment, health, and safety teams to deliver safe and reliable assets.
  • Mentor junior engineers, review technical work, and present findings to clients and leadership teams.
  • Support carbon management initiatives and decarbonization strategies through energy efficiency and alternative fuels assessment.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred; 8+ years of experience in fossil energy projects.
  • Strong background in refinery, LNG, petrochemical, or power-generation processes; familiarity with process simulation tools (Aspen HYSYS/Plus, Aspen Plus).
  • Proven experience with HAZOP, P&ID, PFD development, and process optimization.
  • Solid knowledge of industry standards (API, ASME) and safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Project management experience; ability to manage complex schedules and budgets; willingness to travel up to 25%.
