Responsibility
- Lead and deliver complex fossil energy projects across exploration, development, and operations, from concept to execution.
- Develop reservoir simulations, production forecasts, and integrated energy models to optimize recovery and costs.
- Collaborate with geoscience, facilities, HSE, and commercial teams to design and implement field development plans.
- Navigate regulatory compliance, permitting, and safety standards; drive ALARP and risk management processes.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships; prepare technical proposals and business cases for stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers, promote knowledge sharing, and uphold rigorous QA/QC across deliverables.
- Lead data-driven decision making using analytics tools and digital twins to improve asset performance.
- Represent the company in external forums, audits, and client engagements with clear, persuasive technical communication.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in fossil energy projects, including upstream development or refinery operations.
- Proficiency with reservoir modeling and simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, or similar) and data analytics platforms (Python, R, SQL).
- Strong understanding of reservoir engineering, production optimization, and process safety (HAZOP, LOPA).
- Experience with project management, cost control, and cross-functional leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to prepare executive summaries and presentations.
- U.S. work authorization; willingness to travel as needed.
