As a Senior Fossil Energy Engineer, you will collaborate with geoscientists, process engineers, and operations to deliver projects on time and within budget, leveraging data analytics, simulation, and industry best practices.
Responsibility
- Lead planning and execution of fossil energy projects from concept to startup, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and optimize reservoir performance models, process simulations, and data-driven decision tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (geoscience, operations, HSE, finance) to align objectives and deliverables.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments; identify and mitigate technical and operational risks.
- Prepare technical reports, investment memos, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and champion best practices in efficiency, emissions reduction, and safety.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in hiring, training, and knowledge sharing.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in fossil energy projects (oil, gas, refinery, or power generation).
- Strong expertise in reservoir engineering, process simulation, and data analytics; proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental reporting.
- Proven project management and cross-functional leadership skills; ability to influence without authority.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed and work in a fast-paced energy environment.
