Responsibility
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to plan, execute, and deliver fossil energy projects across upstream, midstream, and CCUS initiatives.
- Own technical scope, schedule, budgets, risk management, and change control; engage stakeholders for alignment.
- Develop reservoir models, process simulations, and optimization strategies to maximize recovery and efficiency.
- Evaluate CO2 capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) integration; drive milestones and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with drilling, facilities, operations, and safety teams to ensure reliable and safe operations.
- Perform economic analyses (NPV, IRR, LCOE), lifecycle assessments, and risk-adjusted decision making.
- Mentor junior engineers and present findings to executives; prepare technical reports and white papers.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in fossil energy projects (upstream, midstream, or integrated projects).
- Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering, process systems, and safety regulatory frameworks (OSHA, EPA, BSEE).
- Experience with simulation and design software (Petrel, Eclipse, Aspen HYSYS, MATLAB/Python for analytics).
- Project management experience; PMP or PE licensure preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to influence and drive results.
- Willingness to travel and work in a dynamic energy environment.
